Tasty Shawarma and Falafel in Richmond Hill

Ordered out, not much meat in shawarma, very dry, no flavor and for the price not worth it.

I had the lunch combo (2 shawarmas for about $11 tax in). One of my shawarma’s had a hair in it so...Flavour-wise the other shawarma was not bad, but the chicken was extremely dry and tasted like jerky.They get 2 stars cause it was super cheap. You get what you pay for.

Tasty indeed. Had a lamb plate and while overall it's a few notches short of say Osmow's in taste, it's a very delicious plate with good portions and really, really amazing rice - something that Osmow's ironically does NOT have - and the lamb is wonderful too! Good place for eat in and take out.

I went to order a chicken shawarma plate which came with a salad. When I was about to eat the salad I opened the styrofoam container and saw a worm! This shows that the staff don’t pay attention to the ingredients nor wash them. I am so disgusted never eating there again. Wasted my money and ended up tossing all of the food without touching anything.

Good prices & good food. Sometimes they are very busy and you will have to wait for up to 30 minutes. But not always.

Clean washrooms, Amazing staff, delicous food. Always have the best deal on "front door display", So make sure you read the deal sign before entering no matter how cold she is outside!!

When this place first opened, the shawarma wraps tasted great and were well-presented. Twice in the past month I’ve ordered a wrap from here and what I got was more like a sloppy joe. The pita was torn near the middle both times and the ingredients were piled on top of each other such that I got a mouth full of onions and nothing else in one bite. It seems like they have new/inexperienced people in the back. Will not return.

I will give only 4 ratings due to its pricing. They sell shawarma at very good price 10 for 2. Apart from it other stuff was a bit expensive. Some place to dine in and take away. Accept debit and online payment. They do not accept credit cards. Looks hygienic. Quiet place to sit and enjoy the meal. They must consider the pricing of other items. Shawarma is very good at this price.

I have been to all three locations and know the guys at the Sheppard and Pharmacy location well. The only thing I would try to improve is the wait time... The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and the food tastes great! But compared to the other 2 locations the service was really slow. I didn't order anything that needed to be fried or grilled and it still took so long for a chicken and beef plate.I will come back and update my review if the service is better next time.UPDATED my ReviewService is fast and great! - Change the rating to 5 stars, I love this place.

Fire Quality. Delicious hot sauce, I tried beef shawarma and mix shawarma. Both were good. The rice was not warm enough.

Our Favourite place to eat middle-eastern food. The shawarmas are so tasty and price is even better. The deals can't be beaten. The Shawarma plates are to die for. Clean establishment, nice ambiance and good entertaining TV screens, but they should play other than the enticing Food Network channel (not that it bothers me) My husband and I love to come here to grab a quick to eat snack or a full platter meal. Great job and food Tasty Shawarma!!!!

For the price of 2 shawarmas for $9.99 its not bad. Not worth making a trip but if you're Hungary and in the neighbourhood it's worth supporting stopping at.Their hope sauce is home made and its good 😊

This is my first time trying restaurants in my area and I must say I am impressed .They serve good quality food and the service is really good ( The picture I have included is the mixed shawarma plate for 10$ 😁)

BEST SHAWARMA IN TOWN!!! Honestly. It’s the absolute best and I’m so extremely happy that they are back open amidst a temporary closure. Potato wedges are crispy beyond belief. Delicious falafel and shawarma plates. Great portion sizes too!Will happily return

Value for money, that’s what you get at this low key shawarma spot. The menu is simple, the food is alright and the service is average. The wait can be long when there are a lot of customers but you can’t go wrong with their prices. They are open late as well so it’s a good spot for late night cravings if you are up for it.

I've been going to shawarma restaurants all my life and never have I paid 50 cents for extra sauce. I don't understand how someone has the audacity to ask for this little amount of money for something so small. On top of that, it took 15 minutes to get my food, it's shawarma!! Shawarma is food that's ready to go!! For starters, the chicken wasn't the greatest, and there were pieces that I couldn't chew at all! The restaurant business is not all about pricing given the fact that your prices are low but more about the quality of your food and how you treat your customers. I won't be going to this restaurant ever again.

Really good shawarma. I got the Mixed Shawarma Plate. Good sized portions (I had leftovers) and decently priced. Their rice is to die for.I would ask for lots of garlic sauce and lots of hot sauce, as it doesn't come with a lot of either.

One of the Best Falafel pitas ever. I will be back.

The food is bad and someone else said this too but it takes them 15 min to make shawarma something that is ready to go so clearly they just reheat meat. Also some dude found a bug in his food in other reviews. Avoid this place.

I ordered a shawarma plate and asked specifically for feta cheese on my salad. When I came home and opened my food, there was cheddar cheese on it! the meat was also not cooked properly

SHAME ON YOU....Just bought a Beef Shawarma and he charged me an extra $0.75 for beef due to Covid19 and increasing beef products. There wasn't any beef in my beef Shawarma at all, just lettuce and tomato!!!! You are such thief and must be reported. Your quality sucks and never coming back. SHAME ON YOU !!!!!!

Excellent falafel. Cooked perfect and so flavourful. I just wish they had the pickled turnips, but otherwise perfect.

This was the second time I went there the food is good . But this time I recognized a hair in my food and I have already ate that. And I couldn’t finish my food. So disgusting!! Never going there again
